Hi, we are looking to replace our ute. The replacement will primarily be used on road but needs to be able to tow a minimum of 2500kgs (Float + 2 horses) and have 4wd for farm tracks, with the odd rugged track now and then. Budget wise, we have up to $45k. Any recommendations would be greatly received. Thanks

I've looked into 4WD vehicles that will give a decent tow rating that you could find used 2014/2017 as an indication.
Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux SR5, Mitsubishi Pajero and Triton Ute. See if you can find or like any of these ones .
