I want to buy a new car (used). My maximum buget will be $10,000, but it would be good if I could spend less. I don't know where to start looking or how much is too much to pay. I don't travel long distances, only around my home town. I would prefer 4 doors, 1.5 litre, automatic and no older than 2004. Could you recommend a make and model that would suit me?

I suggest you stick to mainstream Japanese and Korean brands.
