Need some advice as to the best car between 2008 RAV4 2WD, 2008/9 Suburu Outback, 2007/8 SUBURU Forester.
We don't really need 4WD in terms of our average typical useage however reviews of Suburu AWD/4WD seem to indicate it an advantage? overall your thoughts on this. Also have seen you raising caution re CVT transmission on other makes of vehicle. Would it be an issue with RAV4.?
Within the RAV4 your thoughts on 2WD vs 4WD.
Re the Suburu Outback 2008 boy that's a lot of high tech. Are more tech bells and whistles just more that can go wrong? Or does Suburu have a good record re tech problems. Your opinion on that re Suburu performance.

I personally love the road handling confidence I experienced with AWD vehicles, including the Subaru. Both these vehicles are not really mentioned as being problematic in the transmission department. Purely personal preference on the Rav being 2wd or 4wd. There is not really any way of hiding from technology, it's in all our modern vehicles now. One thing to add is fuel economy, Subaru have good power and handle well, but the engine size doesn't help the fuel economy figures.
