Hi AA, Am I better off getting a 2010 NZ new Nissan Qashqai that has done around 170,000k
or a 2007 Imported Nissan Dualis that has done between 110,000 and 120,000K ? for roughly the same price
I prefer the Qashqai as it has a higher safety rating and this would be a family vehicle.
But are the ks too high for the Qashqai? I have heard the CVT may be an issue in the 2007 Dualis ?
Any advice on this would be appreciated thanks

Hi there,
We recommend getting the newest safest vehicle your budget allows, so from that point of view, the NZ new vehicle of 2010 would be the better pick. NZ new options seem to out trump an import of similar model. Both vehicles will be reliant on how they have been serviced thus far and the transmission is the biggest component to check, you may need to ask a transmission specialist about the specifics of each and what servicing one will cost.

Thanks very much for that advice
