I am having an inspection of a 2010 Skoda Superb with 6 speed DSG g/box. The DSG has not had regular servicing. Will the inspector be able to test drive the car and report with particular attention to the correct functioning of the gears? I will only want to buy if the report is favourable, ie the DSG is fully functional, as I will then take it for a DSG oil change as soon after buying as possible. I would appreciate your response and any other info relevant to the purchase of a car with a DGG g/box.

Hi there,
If the gearbox displays any signs of anything unusual while the inspector is on their short test-drive (up to 50kmh), then they will make a note of it.
