Hi I am in the market for a 2nd hand 4 door hatch vehicle, 1.8L auto, budget $11K, the lower the km's the better. What models would you suggest that I look at?

You might want to take a look at an NZ new Toyota Corolla or Imported Toyota Auris or Ist which pretty much the only 4dr hatch having 1.8ltr engines. 2005-2007 year seem to be in your price range as found on Trade-Me.
The Mazda 3/Axella is also popular but have 1.5 or 2.0ltr engines.
