I've recently purchased a caravan. My current vehicle is a 3.5litre Toyota Aurion which has sufficient power but is a bit soft in the rear end so sags. This does the usual things like putting headlights high etc but tows fine. I've spoken to some suspension folk who suggest stiffer springs in the rear. Now I believe this will leave my car oversprung when not towing - am I right or do I have any options short of buying a different vehicle? Thanks.

Hi there,
Yes this could be a dilemma, unless there was a progressive type suspension spring or system alternative. Where it would try and give better use multiple conditions.
Depending on the suspension strut type, there also may be a direct replacement air shock that could be used?

I was told air shocks were old technology but not offered any new technology to help my situation. So you don't have any previous experience with other solutions to this?

Sorry, nothing new/recent we've heard of lately either.
