I am weighing up between two cars, a 2007 Ractis and a 2009 Ractis. The 2007 has about 38k on the clock, and 2009 has done around 70k but has none of the optional bells and whistles.
In cars of this age, both with such low Ks, which is the better one to look at buying? Is it 6 of one and half a dozen of the other/pick the one with the nicer upholstery etc, or should age or milage be trumps? I like the extra features and low KMs of the 2007, but I am wary about choosing the older of the two, and what the potential problems might be from a car of that age having such a low milage.
I plan to get an AA check before I buy either, just to be sure, but I'd prefer to check only one of them if I can.

Hi there,
It really is harder to tell with imported vehicles, as they may have been looked after or used in the snow and full of rust. Very low km's can have the opposite effect and lead to a vehicle clogged up due to lots of cold running. This may take a while to clear or present a few problems once it starts being used.
The newer one with 70k would seem a more attractive amount of km's and are still classed as low. Both years are still classed as first generation and very little information is available on models and specs.
