Hi, I am looking for a new-used car around the 7K mark. Every car I look at seems to have CVT transmission. I have been told to avoid CVT as it can lead to issues down the road (pun intended). What cars should I be looking at that are reliable and CVT free (in my budget)?

It is understandable that a lot of imported vehicle in this range will have the CVT.
There are some Toyota models Allex, Runx that didn't have a CVT. Generally Mazda, Toyota and Suzuki didn't seem to have too many issues.
