I am trading a 2000 prado, and need a car cheaper to run with good ground clearance.
Looking at a Subaru xv 2015 60,00k or Cross polo 2015 50,00, which would be the better car, I am planning to keep it for 10 years, need advice re service and parts cost, or if you have another suggestion.

For the likelihood of long term vehicles I would go with the Subaru XV or Forester over a Cross Polo. A Japanese vehicle has the potential to cost less to maintain as it ages than a European vehicle would.
