We are looking at purchasing a second hand car. Thinking a 5-seater that can turn into a 7-seater when needed, roof rack, tow bar, lots of boot space etc. Reliable and easy to get parts when needed. We do an average of about 19,000kms a year mostly around the city with one big trip at Christmas (when there is only four of us). Wanting something with less than 100,000kms on the clock and probably around the 5 years old mark. Any car recommendations (or ones to steer clear of) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The Honda Stream 1.8ltr is a very good 5/7-seater, as is a more SUV style Mitsubishi Outlander.
The Mazda Premacy is also a popular choice for a vehicle with a conventional transmission.
