If a vehicle has been repaired and been given a new VIN, does your history report trace the history of the VIN numbers on that vehicle? If not how do I do match VIN's to an actual vehicle? How do I find out wether a VIN is a valid VIN?

The AA history report looks to have a Vin input and should have the vin numbers linked to give a complete vehicle history. I have not come across a history report that spans over a vin change, it may come up with a warning that the number plates have changed and further investigation required.
