Hi, I'm looking at buying my first car, looking at a 1.5L 2001 Nissan Wingroad, 2L 2005 Nissan Lafesta and 1.5L 2001 Toyota Funcargo. Really looking for reliability, and advice on any potential pitfalls of these models?

The two I would recommend are the Wingroad or Funcargo as they look to have conventional transmissions as opposed to the CVT of the Lafesta.
Both should be equally reliable if they have been looked after and all the servicing has been carried out on time.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Have ruled out Lafests, but now also looking at 2005 Nissan Note - how do they stack up in terms of reliability?

We've not received any complaints about the Note, but as with any import longevity can depend on how it's be treated.
