Is the buyer (new owner) of my car able to ask me to pay for something relating to the car once the car has been transferred to their name?

You shouldn't need to pay for anything relating to the vehicle once it is sold unless you have had a prior contract or agreement?

The buyer should satisfy themselves with the vehicle before purchase.
