I am looking at upgrading and have found a 2004 Honda Accord Euro 6 speed manual. It seemed to drive well and I have almost fallen in love with the car. The problem I'm having is it has 240xxx km and am wondering if there is a chance that much is going to go wrong as it has high kms. Would love some advice on how big a risk you think it is.

Hi there,
As any vehicle ages and the km's stack up there are a few expensive things to look out for. Cam chains can stretch, the clutch could wear and require replacement, the transmission bearings can become noisy, and also engines can use oil/ smoke. These would be some specifics I would look into when considering a high km car. How it has been treated and serviced would also dictate longevity beyond this point.
