Recommendation required as I am 68 yrs old
retired on budget .Toyota Wish had 20000 k and Mazda has 72000 k and both are Japanese imports. Will use car for long journey every now and then with 4 people and luggage. will appreciates help Thanks.

The main difference between the two vehicles is the transmission, the Toyota has a (1-speed) CVT and the Mazda has a conventional automatic.
They both drive quite differently and the CVT is usually not the favourite, but in saying that, Toyota seem to have a pretty good one that doesn't really give too many problems.
For me the choice would be vehicle size and transmission type that would influence my decision.
