We have 2 toddlers and now need a bigger car! We're looking at getting a big SUV. Needs to have 5 seats (not 7 at this stage), heaps of boot space for a double stroller and all the stuff that comes with kids, and be big/spacious - like, would need to fit 3 carseats at the back if we decide to have another kid. Hubby will use the car for work during the week, but it will be our weekend/family holiday car. So what makes/models should we have a look at?

We want a bit of a beast in size, but I worry it'll end up a fuel guzzler. I've read some threads about diesel vs. petrol and engine size and all that technical stuff to consider too? All went a bit over my head! What are the basics to look out for?
