I recently bought a car that they told me it wasn't 4WD. But after taking a closer look at the dashboard I actually have a 2 different 4WD lights. Does that mean this vehicle is 4WD? If so, how do I turn it on if it doesn't have the dial.

It may well be 4WD, I would contact the local service agent eg Toyota /Suzuki for more details on the specifications of your vehicle, and how to engage 4WD mode.
