HI there, we're looking for a small hatch for less then $10k as a second car and would love some advice.

We're currently thinking about a 2011 Polo (66k kms/$10k), 2012 Mazda 2 (30k kms/$9.5k), 2012 Peugeot (80kms $10k), Suzuki Swift 2014 (45k kms, $10k) or a cost conscious 2008 Peugeot (50kms, $5.5k).

Any advise or recommendations would be marvellous.

My pick would be the Mazda 2, followed closely by the Polo or Swift, I'm not too familiar with the Peugeots, and not really received much by the way of comments good or bad.
These top 3 are all good on safety and have been pretty reliable, received no complaints and might come down to personal preference for size, space, controls and features.
