Hi there,
I have found a 2012 Mazda Axela 2l but it has done 125,000kms. The vehicle has been in NZ since Jan/Feb and it was purchased from a dealer in Auckland. That owner is now selling the vehicle as they need to upgrade. He has all the paperwork from what he received when he purchased from dealer. Should I be worried about buying a later model car with such high KMS? He is asking for around $11,000 which is another reason it has me thinking. Can anyone please give me some advice. The vehicle is in immaculate condition except for a small stone spot on the bonnet and a very slight crease on the door (hardly noticed it) it drove really well...
I think I will get it AA checked - can they pick up things like if the vehicle has ever been in an accident? e.g in Japan etc...
HELP!

Hi there,
Yes it is recommended to get an inspection carried out, this should pick up any noticeable accident damage or repairs that you should know about.
The vehicle has travelled twice as many km's it would otherwise have been driven n normal use. However I would not expect you to find any problems at this stage, just a low purchase/ resale price would reflect this. Maintenance is the key here, has the regular service items according to km's travelled been taken care of/ replaced?.
