I've recently saw a Toyota Caldina ZT 2006 which has clocked 217000km selling at about 4500 nzd. It has a good service history of every 10000km drive(change of oil etc). It's running on premium gas.
My first concern when I saw this car was the mileage but I was told that it's a cam chain driven car so I don't have to worry about it.

But it's cheap as compared to the same model and year with half of the mileage, they're sold at almost double the price.

What kind of risk am I taking if I were to purchase this car, what should I be concern/aware of?

Thank you in advance

Hi there,
These vehicles are generally very good and do high mileage. I'm not aware of any major issues other than check the cooling system condition, does it have antifreeze, and does it burn oil.
Chain driven vehicles are good in the sense that they never usually need replacing, unlike a cam belt which is due every 100,000km.
