Hi there. We're in the market for a new car and are looking for something spacious to carry kids, luggage and anything else that might need to be ferried round. Despite having always said we'd avoid a Peoplemover we're now we think that might be the best option. We're trying to decide between a 2006 Mitsubishi Grandis with 88k on the clock and a 2004 Mazda MPV with 114k. The Mitsubishi is a fresh import whereas the Mazda has had 1 NZ owner already. Both are priced at $5k. Any advice on which one would be a better buy would be much appreciated!

Both vehicles are pretty good, but I think the Mazda would have a slight edge in the popularity stakes. There are not really any warnings to note about either of them, however the age and km's would give the Mitsi an advantage.
