Hi,
I am really keen on buying the 2007 and above 525i. I was wondering how are these cars on fuel. What are the common faults ont these. Would there be any alternative to this?
Also i have been looking into some good suvs. My current budget is about 15k. I am looking for a full size suv. I have seen the touraeg 3.2 v6. Have seen reviews which arent bad. But again i was worried about the fuel economy since i would be driving it in the city and occasionally out of town. What would you recommend?

I know very little about the older BMW's aside from plastic cooling system fittings and sensors requiring attention as they age. I can see that the combined fuel economy when new is 8.7L/100km and the Touareg 3.2 has a combined usage of 13.8L/100km.
