Hi,

I am planning to import a 2010 NISSAN NOTE and this link has all the information on the vehicle http://www.beforward.jp/nissan/note/bf647708/id/771812/

I want to know your valued feedback in terms of:

1. General maintenance and spare parts and service costs.
2. City driving with occasional long trips.
3. Fuel efficiency.
4. Interior spacing.
5. Engine reliability and safety.
6. Any implications involved in importing a car (although I think many import car in NZ)

Also, can you please suggest an alternative vehicle that I can buy considering all my concerns as I have two old toyota cars on my checklist as well. Please suggest me a best option to go with.

2006 Toyota Belta http://www.beforward.jp/toyota/belta/bf635045/id/758500/?mfg_year_from=2006

2007 TOYOTA COROLLA FIELDER http://www.beforward.jp/toyota/corolla-fielder/bf645954/id/770031/?mfg_year_from=2006

Your advise would be greatly appreciated!

Many Thanks,
Adnan

Hi there,
As this vehicle is an import, there is very little information available. This makes up part of the risk of importing, there is not really any information available to find out about the vehicle as it is designed as a Japanese domestic vehicle for use in Japan.
For a start it has a CVT transmission that in some Nissan imports has been known for the potential to give trouble.
These vehicles are popular and we have received no complaints from AA members that may have them. Other popular choices are, Mazda Demio, Axela, Toyota Allex, Runx.

Why not do a little research for yourself? Try this for starters re Nissan https://www.autoevolution.com/cars/nissan-note-2008.html#aeng_nissan-note-2008-14-mpi-5mt-88-hp
