Hi there, I have a Honda Fit 2003, and it seems like it has the common problem of a CVT transmission, which it shudders and popping out check engine sign. This is quite bothering me as this doesn't seem reliable to me, and I often felt unsafe to drive on the road as it seems like it can break down and stop anytime on a busy road.

Would you recommend me to get a thorough fix (roughly how much would it be?) , or should I sell it to a garage and buy a new hatchback? And if I want to go for a hatchback, which would you recommend? A Toyota Corolla or Mazda Axela?

Thanks in advance,
Joyce

Hi Joyce,
I recommend having the transmission looked at first, it may be that it needs a simple fix to allow you to sell the vehicle operating as it should. It would be worth very little with problems and the check light on.
Corollas and Mazda's are some of the two top manufactures we could recommend for a used car, they are popular and proven be reliable.
