I am planning to buy a reasonably new vehicle and I am undecided what to buy. Everyone I ask about them gives me a different answer. I am leaning towards a Hyundai, as I like the Tuscon. We travel a lot to Nelson so therefore I am looking at something that is economical as well. Can you advise me towards something in that line or do you have any preferences of other makes. I do want a SUV for the height as I find the car quite low. Thanks so much Therese

This Med SUV segment has a lot of choices at the moment and is rapidly expanding.
The new Tucson is a very good car, as is the Mazda CX-5, Kia Sportage, Suzuki Vitara. With other options also Honda CRV, Nissan X-trail, Mitsubishi ASX, or Toyota Rav4.
