I own a 1977 Jaguar (very prone to rust!). I am considering purchasing an electronic rust prevention system eg "Couplertec" or "Ruststop".

What is you view of the effectiveness of these two systems?

I don't know enough about these products to offer constructive comment to be honest.
What they won't cure or stop however, is structural rust or areas where the corrosion is already well established.
Areas such as around the windscreen pillars and roof are virtually impossible to fix with rust protection products in my experience.

Before you spend the money, get the vehicle checked out by a panel beater. It may be better to put the money into repairing structural areas properly, if required.

We see a number of older vehicles which have major structural rust issues that owners are unaware of.
