Hi,

We have just had a baby and upgraded our car to a 2006 Nissan Wingroad Wagon. I am now trying to install the new baby carseat but unsre which of the hooks or anchor points in the rear are suitable for attaching the tether strap to, are you able to help.

Good on you for trying to get the best advice on fitting the car seat. Having the seat and baby secure certainly provides massive peace of mind for Mums and Dads.

I phoned Plunket NZ to discuss this issue and they suggested a call to your local branch would be best. They operate a baby car seat rental scheme which includes support and advice to ensure the seats are fitted correctly.

They had no hesitation in saying that same advice and support would be available where people had their own child car seats.

There are also moves underway to establish a network of child restraint technicians throughout the country such is the importance they place on making sure babies and young children are restrained correctly.
