We have just bought a Suzuki Swift 2017, latest model shape, and would like to fit daytime running lights. We believe that this vehicle has a smart electrical system that senses electrical load and sends a fault code if the load is not what is expected. Would fitting DRLs (total power 10W) cause a code to be sent. if it would, can something be done about it?
It will be possible to connect a set of after-market DRLs without causing any issues to the wiring system or activating any warning lights.
This will of course depend on how the DRL wiring is connected.
