AA Health Insurance believe it’s time for Kiwi blokes to have a bit of a tune-up of the body and mind variety. Following on from the successes of last year’s Men’s Health Week (MHW) support, AA Health Insurance has again teamed up with broadcaster, Te reo Māori mentor and ambassador Scotty Morrison to deliver the ‘Man WoF’.

This year they are spreading the word even further, by translating the 'Man WoF' into three of New Zealand’s most spoken languages - Te reo Māori, Samoan and Mandarin (简体中文).

“Kiwi blokes can think of the Man WoF as a guide to the small steps they and their whānau can take to keep healthy and stop preventable illnesses in their tracks, because as the facts stand, Kiwi blokes have a much higher risk of these than women,” says AA Health Insurance Senior Marketing Manager, Becky McQuoid.

“Helping spread the word to get Kiwi men to take these smalls steps is so important and rewarding for us; these steps could be small, but absolutely life changing. Translating the Man WoF into these additional languages means it becomes more accessible for more New Zealand men.”

Men’s Health Week is an international campaign which will run across 60 countries from 12-18 June 2023. The message from them this year is, “Big differences can start with small steps.” MHW want to encourage men to think about and take the small steps that can – and will – make big differences to their health.

The Man WoF and its translations will be heading to AA Members’ inboxes with the launch of Men’s Health Week on Monday June 12^th and will also be available on the AA Health Insurance website.
