- Stay with your vehicle (as the driver or a passenger) when requesting help.
- Have your AA Membership card and a second form of ID ready.
- Call 0800 500 222 to request assistance.

- Roadside Joins: You can get immediate help at the roadside by joining now for $209, or $159 if your partner or spouse is already an AA Member and lives at the same address.
- Call 0800 500 222 – We will set up your AA Membership over the phone and send help straight away.
Important to know
- Roadside joins include immediate cover and assistance.
- Personal Membership has a 24-hour stand-down period before callouts are available.
- Incidents that occurred before joining aren’t covered.
Features
We’re here to get you moving again. In most cases we’ll fix the problem at the roadside, and if extra support is needed, we’ll tow your vehicle to the nearest place of safety or repair.
Our roadside services3 include:
- Battery service – testing, jump-starting, or arranging a replacement if needed.
- Key lockout service – helping you regain access if you’re locked out.
- Flat tyre help – wheel change, or towing if you don’t have a usable spare.
- Fuel delivery – if you run out, we’ll bring you fuel (you pay for the fuel).
- Glass repair/replacement – temporary side glass replacement, or organising a windscreen chip/crack repair.4
- Mobile EV charging4
- Tow to safety – if we can’t get you moving, we’ll tow your vehicle to the nearest place of safety or repair.
- Assistance for bicycles, e-bikes and e-scooters – where safe and practical.
