What an extended driver assessment is
A 75 minute extended in-vehicle assessment with one of our qualified AA Driving Instructors is an extension of the standard in-vehicle assessment which focuses on the driver’s individual driving style, attitude and behaviour.
If you are looking for something further than what is covered during the standard in-vehicle assessment, this 75 minute extended assessment could be what you need. We can tailor the session to suit your driver’s requirements, whether manoeuvring, breaking, parking or a specific area that needs attention.
Based on their observations, the AA Driving Instructor will give the driver positive feedback and, where appropriate, provide coaching and helpful tips.
A brief written summary on the session will be provided to the organisation. If the AA Driving Instructor thinks more time is needed to correct poor driving, they may recommend additional training or coaching.
